1.1. Assessment and Quotation

Based on this assessment, we provide a detailed quotation. This quotation is valid for 30 days and may be subject to change if additional items are identified during the clearance process.

2. Booking and Confirmation

To secure our services, clients must provide a confirmed booking date. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability. Upon confirmation, a booking fee may be required, which will be deducted from the total service cost.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for our house clearance services is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Invoices are issued for all services rendered, and clients are expected to settle invoices within 14 days of receipt.

3.1. Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for items that require special handling, disposal fees, or if the volume of items exceeds the initial assessment. These charges will be communicated to the client before any additional work is undertaken.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all items to be cleared are accessible on the agreed-upon date.
  • Provide accurate information regarding the types and quantities of items for clearance.
  • Obtain any necessary permissions or permits required for the clearance work.

4.1. Prohibited Items

Clients are responsible for removing or securely storing any items that are hazardous, perishable, or contain sensitive information. Our team will not handle items such as:

  • Hazardous chemicals and materials
  • Perishable food items
  • Confidential documents or personal records

5. Liability

We strive to provide exceptional service and handle all items with care. However, clients acknowledge that minor damages may occur during the clearance process. Our liability is limited to the replacement value of the damaged items, up to a maximum of £500. We are not liable for any consequential or indirect losses.

5.1. Insurance

Our company holds comprehensive liability insurance to cover potential damages during the clearance process. Clients are advised to ensure that high-value or irreplaceable items are adequately insured through their own policies.

6. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule their house clearance appointment by providing at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the total service cost.

6.1. No-Show Policy

If a client fails to be present at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice, the full service fee will be charged.

7. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. All data collected during the booking and clearance process is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7.1. Use of Personal Information

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal actions or proceedings will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
